My Heroines runs storytelling, creative writing, drama and self development workshops for children, young people and lifelong learners. Our workshops investigate and bring to life famous and unsung heroines from different cultures, past and present. We nurture strong role models to help build:
literacy skills
knowledge of local history and issues
women's history
citizenship
self esteem and personal development
e-literacy and researching via the internet
awareness of women's issues over time
professional development
