It does her good. I blame myself - before pregnancy she read the classics, now it's all murder and mayhem ... :-) My good friend Gerry was exactly the same - has ead no fiction that doesn't involve a couple of dead bodies since she had her daughter sixteen years ago ... not quite Oedipus, not quite Clytemnestra, but there's something in there about the mother-child relationsip! :-)

Pascale's Tate courses are wonderful events, usually full of fantastic people. I realised just recently that almost all of the kindred spirits I have met in the London poetry world I have met on one or other of Pascale's courses! If you can make it for even four of the six evenings it would be worth the effort! And a definite break from crime-writing (although my mother would kill me for saying that - I just found out that she has read some of your stuff (ever since being pregannt with me, she only reads poetry, gardening / plant science and crime novels)). Small world, isn't it?! Hope you're well! I'm summarising my books chapter by chapter for the Richard and Judy submission thing - SO boring! And there are more interesting things to do online......
