- I've written since I was little and, having abandoned an academic career to pursue my addiction, I'm now an award-winning fiction and poetry writer, despite suffering from M.E. for the past few years. I keep afloat by teaching writing sessions and working as an editor/ manuscript assessor for various literary consultancies and publishers worldwide.
